Covid-19 Walk and Talk Together - Lewisham Healthy Walks, Nordic Walking and Indoor Exercise. 


Join us on some Zoom sessions so we can keep active and enjoy each other’s company whilst in lockdown. Most sessions are open for anyone to join. Just use the link given and if it’s your first time on Zoom, the software will download. Remember to turn on your audio once you’ve connected with the ‘host’ and you can choose the video link too if you wish.

Exercise session

If this is your first class please contact the instructor to check is the session is still taking place, as we are beginning to deliver more sessions back in the parks.
Saturday morning at 9.00 am Nordic Walk warm-up exercises indoors, head out for a walk (with poles or not), come back and re-join at 9.45 am for the cooldown and stretches and more chat. Click here for zoom login link for more information email

Make sure you have plenty of space and that any rugs don’t slip. Wear loose comfortable clothing and well-fitting shoes. Have an upright chair nearby as you may need it for support or for some seated exercises and maybe use a couple of tins of beans or filled bottles for weights.

You participate at your own risk and you should seek medical advice as appropriate. If you have any health issues or joint problems that could be affected by exercise please contact the instructor by email before joining a session.
